Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about service? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Administrative Accounting Clerk. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by handling data entry, invoicing, inventory management, customer service, and providing general administrative support to our customers and team.
**Who we Are**:
Toba Sportswear is a wholesale distributor of blank apparel to the imprintable sportswear industry. Toba Sportswear supplies screen printers, embroiderers, promotional products distributors, and sportswear retailers with a full line of activewear, corporate casualwear, and accessories for all embellishment needs. Located in Winnipeg, Canada, we have been serving the central Canada region since 2003. The goal of Toba Sportswear is to provide an extensive product line at competitive prices, all while offering exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time (M-F), on-site role based in Winnipeg, MB. The position will include general accounting responsibilities, data entry, record keeping, and back-up customer administrative support.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As an Administrative Accounting Clerk you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the following key duties:
- Invoice and file customer orders.
- Data entry of accounts payable invoices.
- Invoice, file, and monitor account payables and payments.
- Purchase order data entry and reconciliation.
- Track, review/reconcile inventory management daily and follow up with discrepancies.
- Update pricing and price adjustments as directed.
- Review/reconcile inventory daily and follow up with discrepancies.
- Reconcile credit card statements.
- Generate monthly sales and ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
- Reconcile assigned accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- When required, process sales orders received from customers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- When required, answer incoming calls, and provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service.
- Other administrative duties as required.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in an administrative data entry, basic accounting, inventory management and/or customer service support role.
- Experience multi-tasking, working in a fast-paced office environment and managing your own workload.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
