Alexandria, Canada KP Windows Full time

**KP Windows**, a manufacturer of high quality windows and patio doors and a member of the Kaycan family, is seeking a **Bilingual Human Resources Generalist **for its facility located in Alexandria.

**Position Status**: Full-time / Permanent
**Schedule**: Day - Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the activities to ensure the payroll department has all the necessary information of the movement of staff (new hires, terminations, promotions, leaves, benefit coordination etc)
- In partnership with managers, plan the integration and on-boarding of new employees;
- Conduct exit interviews, produce statistics, analyze and make recommendations
- Maintain and update employee files (i.e. time and attendance)
- Act as a resource person to managers and employees for all questions regarding policies and procedures, benefits and working conditions;
- Consolidate all data related to training activities deployed across the company, and gather the required data to ensure compliance with legal requirements;
- Produce and update various reports, including HR performance indicators, headcount, compensation, etc.;
- Assist team members in the management of the health and safety program, disability cases and well-being initiatives;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
- Perform other administrative duties and participates in projects as assigned by the HR Manager.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Diploma in a related discipline
- 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing unionized environment
- Bilingualism : English and French
- Very good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
