**SUMMARY**:
The Procurement Manager guides a team of professionals responsible for all tactical supply chain functions in support of the business unit, including; purchase order (p.o.) creation, p.o management, delivery assurance and exception message management. This position is for professionals with credentials in Supply Chain Management and at least five years of experience.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for guiding a team of Supply Chain professionals
- Ensure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer OTD
- Expedite material as needed; negotiating and working changes within supply base through the Change Board process
- Review purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demand
- Ensure inventory goals and objectives are met
- Negotiate with suppliers as required for reschedules in support of inventory and business objectives
- Support the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) process
- Assist the Supplier Performance evaluation process
- Interface with Supplier Quality personnel to ensure supplier performance
- All other task as assigned

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience **_OR_**:

- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience **_OR_**:

- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
- Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
