BSG customizes services to the exact needs and locations of clients, ensuring solutions meet precise specifications, including logistics, crew transfers, housekeeping, catering, and the fulfillment of all HSE requirements.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our international team of Operations Managers onboard our floating accommodation vessels (floatel), on a rotational schedule. All training, accommodation and meals will be provided to you at no cost.

The Operations Manager is a highly motivated self-starter responsible to oversee the contractual obligations for the floatel and direct liaison with clients within the established operational, health and safety, and other policies and procedures of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the President and Senior Manager of Floatel Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the vessel accommodation and support vessels
- Providing coaching, leadership and guidance to all department heads and managers
- Act as the primary liaison with all key project stakeholders (client, ship owners, shoreside operations team, etc.)
- Forecast requirements; assist in preparation of budgets and schedule expenditures
- Complete budget analysis monthly and report on variances, taking corrective actions where necessary
- Ensure contract management processes are followed
- Routine reporting per corporate and client requirements
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance to HSE regulations and implementation of enhancement initiatives with the support of the HSE department
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members, selection, onboarding and improvement plans
- Working with department heads, ensure that scheduled performance reviews are conducted for all crew members

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business with 5-7 years previous or relative experience
- Knowledge of the technical functions and operational components of large format vessels
- Previous industrial project experience
- Valid Marine First Aid and CPR
- Valid STCW-95
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to hiring and potential random tests throughout employment without prior notice
- Excellent comprehension and command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), as well as iOS mobile operating system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often stressful environment
- Experience in a hospitality operation (guest services, room management and food & beverage) considered an asset
- Safety oriented and willing and able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Participate in all safety and security training, exercises and other duties as assigned by the Master and vessel Management

Physical Working Conditions:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
