This is a fast-paced yet rewarding, front-facing position for a proactive Human Resources professional with experience that is passionate about Employee Engagement.

**Key Points of the Position**

We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive HR Generalist who can support our company culture, building positive relationships and Employee Engagement through our Core Values: Leadership Mindset, Performance, Health and Safety, Team Spirit, and Community Involvement.

**Snapshot**
- Promote and support attendance and performance management, reporting and providing constructive feedback and solutions for employees and managers.
- Coach and support front-line leaders in AGF policies to promote and maintain relationships with operations management and plant employees.
- Participate in different HR projects and other initiatives to drive excellence in people management.
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Assist with investigations for any incidents/allegations and provide recommendations.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and regulations.
- Support the Human Resources Business Partners, day-to-day and provide support to HR Coordinators
- Maintain and review data entry of employee information within HR databases.
- Keep a pulse on employee engagement.
- Champion AGF as a diverse and inclusive workplace and embody AGF’s core values throughout Ontario and Western Canada.
- Embrace and develop sustainable relationships within local communities, through the Foundation.

**General Skills**:
**What we’re looking for**
- A Great Attitude
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 1-3 years of HR experience in an advisory capacity.
- Client focused and service oriented.
- General understanding of employment laws and labour relations.
- Exposure and experience in compensation and total rewards programs
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel throughout Ontario & Western Canada (less than 20%).
