We are seeking **Estimating Students** for our Solar district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for** 4 month or 8 months starting September 3rd, 2024.**
As a **Solar Estimating Student** and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
**Responsibilities**:
- Understands and utilizes PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms
- Reviews quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator
- Performs assigned quantity survey
- Gives quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing
- Transfers quantities to lead estimator
- Performs general subtrade solicitation duties
- Bids document control
- Performs bid day assignments
- Develops relationships with subcontractors
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator
