We are seeking a **Solar Estimating Student** **for our **Solar District in** Oakville, Ontario** that is available** **for **a minimum of 4 months starting in September 2023.**

As a** Solar Estimating Student **and depending on your assigned project, here’s how you will contribute to the team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Understands and utilizes PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms
- Reviews quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator
- Performs assigned quantity survey
- Gives quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing
- Transfers quantities to lead estimator
- Performs general subtrade solicitation duties
- Bids document control
- Performs bid day assignments
- Visits job sites periodically
- Develops relationships with subcontractors
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator
