We are seeking a **Solar Design Student** **for our **Solar District in** Oakville, Ontario** that is available** **for **a minimum of 4 months starting in January 2024.**
As a** Solar Design Student **and depending on your assigned project, here’s how you will contribute to the team:
**Responsibilities**:
- Reviews RFP documentation for key design requirements.
- Designs, reviews and/or validates solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents using/creating plans, specifications, and other information.
- Calculates energy losses for designs.
- Prepares/draws detailed site layouts using electrical single line diagrams using AutoCAD.
- Supports estimating with quantity takeoffs and preconstruction efforts (e.g. design coordination, constructability review, project planning).
- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders
