Lase Away is a Brampton-based medi-spa and we have been in business since 2021. We will be expanding our business to a unit this June and are looking for two full-time "Receptionist/Administrative Assistant" to join our team. The unit is located in a brand new plaza at 11685 McVean Drive, Brampton, ON.

Criteria:

- High school diploma required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Must have strong communication skills (fluent English is required, Punjabi/Urdu/Hindi is an asset)
- Must have strong customer service skills to respond to client concerns in a professional manner. Customer service experience is required and past receptionist or administrative assistant experience is preferred. There will be situations where clients cancel last minute or show up too late to their appointments, which may result in a fee being charged. This will anger some clients and you need to be able to respond in a calm and professional manner.
- Must be a quick learner and adaptable to change
- Must come to work everyday, on time, as scheduled
- Must have a positive attitude, be organized, and detail-oriented
- Having knowledge of laser hair removal, HydraFacials, and/or the Zena Algae Peel is an asset, but not required

Details:

- 1 year contract (minimum time required to work with us, but we prefer employees who will stay with us permanently)
- Shift: 30 hour shift, Monday - Saturday, morning or afternoon. We expect to open from 9am-7:30pm on weekdays and 9am-6pm on Saturdays. We will be closed on Sundays and statutory holidays.
- This is a cash position at $16/hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients
- Answer phone calls
- Book appointments using online booking system - There are many steps that have to be followed to book clients and different questions must be asked depending on the service being booked, so you must be a fast learner to pick this up quickly
- Process payments accurately
- Record payment and treatment information in client files after every appointment
- Enforce policies professionally
- Answer client concerns professionally
- Adhere to the spa's cleaning schedule
