Hiring Unit:

- McGill Executive Institute_

Position Summary:
Reports to Hospitality Student Supervisor

Oversees logistics to ensure an excellent experience for all McGill Executive Institute (MEI) clients

Organizes refreshments and catered items for breakfast, AM/PM coffee breaks, lunch, dinner and receptions as required

Restocks inventory supplies

Ensures and maintains lounge and kitchen areas are clean and organized

Performs general kitchen cleaning (fridges, sink, storage areas and counter)

Cleans classrooms, meeting rooms and food service areas after breaks and at the end of the day (wipe tables, whiteboards, check classroom supplies, pick up used crockery and utensils, load and empty dishwashers)

Setup and take down classrooms for seminars

Liaise with Customer Service Coordinator for delivery of excellent customer service

Provides friendly representation of the MEI and assists participants as required

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

- Must be a registered McGill undergraduate student in U1 or U2_
- English spoken; French knowledge helpful_
- Client focused and service oriented_
- Previous hospitality and/or customer service experience an asset_
- Capable of working independently and in a team_
- Able to take initiative and prioritize to meet deadlines._
- Organized and proficient with multi-tasking and attention to detail_
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs_
- Available to work during the school year (min 10/hrs/week)_
- Must be available during examination period and spring/summer terms_
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings_

Minimum Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience
- Hourly Salary:

- (AMUSE B) $16.50
