IT Support

Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining an inventory and tracking of all company computers, printers, or other hardware, accessories, technology, and phones, ensuring a backup is readily available in the event of an equipment malfunction
- Developing and managing a ticket queue for responding to IT requests from employees including a Tier system for triaging requests
- Sourcing and negotiating agreements with vendors to ensure competitive pricing is obtained
- Assisting with the back end of website (as needed)
- Installing/troubleshooting/repairing/replacing damaged monitoring security cameras and or other equipment at various locations
- Setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, hardware and/or appropriate software
- Backing up data and decommissioning employee accounts in a timely manner
- Planning, implementing and migrating operation system upgrades
- Performing hands-on troubleshooting of all equipment types including computers, laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers, copiers, etc. and replacing as necessary.
- Managing and controlling permissions including security and sharing permissions
- Scheduling jobs, restores and backups
- Training staff on the use of: Teams, SharePoint, Apps and how to set these up on work devices
- Facilitating ongoing trainings such as new tech processes
- Having oversight of the App we currently use and addressing glitches, changes, updates and upgrades required/as needed
- Regular maintenance of all computers, printers, cell phones etc.
- Being available to all staff for tech problem solving and troubleshooting as issues arise
- Continually looking for ways to improve systems and processes to find more efficient ways to complete billing, on-call processes etc.
- Ensuring the company’s computer software and network systems are updated regularly
For success in this role, you must have:
- A Diploma in Technology and/or Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 2+ years of practical experience working in Information Technology or IT Support.
- A combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- The ability to troubleshoot errors and issues, and recommend value added solutions with ease
- The ability to develop technical solutions to assist day-to-day user-related problems
- Advanced level skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Teams
- Programming understanding
- The ability to effectively navigate and troubleshoot Windows operating systems
- The ability to be friendly, personable and able to meet staff where they are at, in their tech abilities in order to assist them
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Pay: $25.89-$27.99 per hour
