We are currently searching for a driven professional to join our Operations Team in the position of a Buyer. Reporting to the Senior Buyer, you will be** **responsible for supporting facility level purchase management. You will be able to perform Indirect spend related procurement activities while meeting KPIs. Strong vendor relationship management and a process-improvement approach will be among the pillars for success.

**As a Buyer you will**
- Tactically replenish Indirect spend related consumables and supplies, to optimize facility and commercial operations._
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers with accurate vendor, product, and cost information.
- Maintain inventory levels with-in min / max targets set by Sr. Buyer.
- Ensure supplier compliance on KPIs (fill rate, on time delivery and PO order lead times).
- Immediately resolve purchase order discrepancies.
- Escalate and obtain resolution on supplier quality related incidents in a timely fashion.
- Resolve issues related to supplier non-compliance on warehouse receiving paperwork.
- Track spend approvals for all purchase orders, ensuring alignment with DOA matrix
- Expedite purchase orders where necessary to meet scheduling and product launch requirements.
- Communicate order status exceptions, contract obligations, and post-receipt actions to all internal cross functional stakeholders.
- Ensure optimized purchase order management which support production schedules, suppliers’ price break points and storage restrictions.
- Strategically engage with supplier community and internal stakeholders._
- Demonstrate excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Identify and resolve risks to supply continuity.
- Build and support strong long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify waste and seek opportunities for cost reduction in the supply chain.
- Provide ad-hoc reports as required.
- Work cross-functionally with commercial, operations & QA to source and develop new materials._
- This will include coordinating both the product qualifications & vendor set up activity.
- Ensuring all cross functional team needs are recognized and met.

- Represent the company positively and with integrity.

**If would be great if you have**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement.
- Degree in business or certification in supply chain or related discipline (SCMP, CIPS, CPIM, CPSM).
- 2+ years in production or manufacturing environment would be an asset.

**Bonus Points if you have**
- Excellent communication, time management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excel at working independently and with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with exceptional skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Worked with Sage X3 or other ERP systems, Microsoft Power Bi, Smartsheet, or other analytical tools.
