**SUMMARY - **_OS&D Coordinator_**
**_ Shift:_** Monday to Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The TransX Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for an **OS&D Coordinator** to join the Operations department in our New Westminster facility, reporting to the Dock Manager.

Our fleet team will be satisfied once our drivers have successfully met their full potential. As a leader within TransX, the position is expected to align with the TransX Core Values for Teamwork, Safety, Innovation, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.
**KEY ACTIVITIES**
**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Inspecting shipments to validate claims
- Working with claimants to assess and recreate scenarios to assess liability
- Addressing overage, shortage, and damage issues
- Researching claims, analyzing root causes, and determining solutions, and communicating findings
- Locating overages, shortages, and damaged freight
- Handling many different types of freight; including Hazmat Materials
- Maintaining a clean and organized OS&D area
- Preparing all paperwork and the repackaging on all OS&D freight
- Researching and resolving OS&D freight issues
- Maintaining accurate records for reporting all OS&D freight on a daily/weekly basis to service center management
- Assisting with answering phones, providing quality customer service, and resolving customer concerns efficiently
**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
**_ Education_**
- High School Diploma - Preferred
**_ Experience_**
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Previous OS&D experience in the transportation industry preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Enjoy working under pressure in a demanding and time-sensitive work environment
- High tolerance for ambiguity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills
- Positive work attitude
