**Your primary responsibilities will include**:
**Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics, you will make a difference daily through your responsibilities by**:

- Collaborating with teams to develop data solutions, drive data-backed decisions, and maximize process automation
- Acquiring, cleaning, and validating internal and client data from various sources using ETL tools
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Power BI and Tableau dashboards
- Creating visually appealing reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics for internal and external stakeholders
- Deriving insights from data to improve processes, support decision-making, and add value for our clients
- Establishing credibility by building trusting relationships with clients
- Assisting with training and information sessions
- Supporting proposal development
- Other duties as required

**The education, skills, and abilities to enable success in our Business Data Analyst opportunity include**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, computer science, mathematics, data science, informatics, data analytics, engineering, or computing and information systems or a Diploma in IT data analytics/business analytics is required
- CPA and/or relevant audit experience is preferred
- Certification in data analytics, data engineering, data visualization is preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience of using enterprise data to solve business problems, preferably within a small, independent, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced organization would be considered an asset
- Strong proficiency in ACL, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and DAX
- Experience with automation concepts and tools, including identifying automation opportunities and implementing solutions
- Knowledge of data transformation and modeling tools (e.g., SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Power Query)
- Capability with data analysis tools such as CaseWare IDEA, ACL, or TeamMate Analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, SSRS, Cognos)
- Utilization of languages like SQL, DAX, Python, and Scala would be considered an asset
- Keen attention to detail and data integrity
- Strong self-starter with the ability to drive projects independently in a client-focused environment
- Inquisitive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with a focus on automating processes
- Excellent business acumen and ability to present insights from operational and financial data
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Efficient project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear, concise manner to a wider audience
- Initiative to learn new tools and concepts or experiment with innovative work independently
- Sound judgment regarding confidential information and sens
