The Tender & Business Development Managerwill represent the organization to promote and sell its products and servicesto individuals or other organizations and supporting business growth bydisseminating information that promotes a favorable view of the organizationand its products and services. Activities include developing and implementingsales strategies; identifying potential customers; managing existing customerrelationships; monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends;sales training; market research, pricing, sales and business developmentactivities.

**HowYou’ll Make an Impact**
- Sellingdirectly to key end consumers/business purchasers through primarily field(i.e., face-to-face) interactions with customers.
- New salesto new customers as well as cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
- Assessingcustomer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
- Developingand delivering sales bids, proposals, and presentations and conducting productdemonstrations.
- Face-to-faceand remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existingcustomers.
- Developingmedium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow anddiversify the relationship with targeted customers.
- Pricingresearch and strategy, including network cost/pricing, competitor analysis,etc.
- Businessdevelopment activities, including the development of alliance/channel/networkpartnerships.
- Identifies,evaluates, and negotiates, new sales and marketing growth opportunities.
- Commercial/PricingStrategy & Planning.
- SalesChannel Strategy & Planning.
- NewProduct Development Strategy focused on mid-term strategy for optimizing acrossall sales channels.

**What You Bring***
- 5-8 yearsof sales experience in the with high-voltage products (transformers, circuitbreakers, arresters, GIS etc) within the utility/power industry in Canada
- Experienceworking with global and multi-cultural teams
- Able tofluently communicate in English. Other languages will be an asset.
- Bachelor’sdegree, Engineering preferred
- Strongclient relationship building skills at all levels
- Excellentlistening skills with a positive attitude
- Excellentorganizational skills and proven ability to close on business opportunities
- Travel required:20-30%
