**Job Description**:
The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring the organization’s compliance with select government programs, regulations, and internal policies/systems. This includes identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risk, providing guidance and training to staff, and ensuring that the organization is aware of and understands any changes to the programs and regulations that may affect business operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The Regulatory Compliance Manager performs the following duties:

- Become knowledgeable on select regulatory programs impacting Dexterra Group’s operations including but not limited to: municipal and provincial business licensing, alcohol and gaming licensing, and the federal industrial security program
- Ensuring and promoting compliance with certain government regulatory/licensing programs and internal policies/systems
- Identify and assess areas of compliance vulnerability and risk within the organization
- Influencing internal policies and procedures as it relates to select regulatory programs
- Provide guidance and training to staff on procedures and issues related to select regulatory programs
- Stay current on changes to laws and regulations that may affect the organization's operations
- Conducting internal audits and investigations as necessary
- Communicate with senior management to keep them informed of relevant issues
- Coordinate with applicable regulatory authorities as required

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance-related role or similar relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail

**Competencies**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed organizational, time-management and detail and decision-making skills.
