**Referrals Coordinator - Part Time**

Dr. Matthew Curran’s practice is a hand, wrist and peripheral nerve specialist whose office is located in Southwest Edmonton.

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Referrals Coordinator. In this part-time role, you will play a critical role in facilitating patient access to our services by effectively managing referrals and scheduling appointments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accepting referrals: Receive referrals from referring physicians, centralized referral programs, and other sources.
- Waitlist management: Accurately update and maintain patient waitlists.
- Appointment scheduling: Book consultations for patients based on availability and referral priorities.
- Communication: Respond to inquiries from referring providers and patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Data entry and recordkeeping: Maintain accurate patient data and referral records within our systems.
- Administrative/Office support: Assist with various administrative tasks as needed. Provide support with other office roles as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset.
- Experience with Healthquest and Connectcare is an asset.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly rate of $26 per hour.
- Part-time position (20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling.
