**Responsibilities**:
Lethbridge College offers a student centered environment that provides practical and innovative learning expereinces. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Centre for Technology, Environment, & Design, the School of Spatial Design Technologies, Architectural Animation and Interior Design Technology programs are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to provide instructional support for day-to-day operations of the programs and courses.

Job Duties

The Instructional Assistant is mainly responsible for assisting students (either one-on-one or group) with their assignments and projects related to Interior Design Technology and/or Architectural Animation Technology courses during scheduled labs and tutorials, or classes in both face-to-face and online environments, and using methods that are best suited to the student’s ability.

The instructional assistant must attend lectures tied to lab and tutorial sections of courses, and be able to use all computer/software provided for the completion of course outcomes.

The Instructional Assistant may be asked to help with marking student projects and assignments, at the discretion of the instructor.
- support instructors with student management, particularly in student-project critiquing
- prepare and maintain course learning resources: manage the IDT material Library, weekly
- support/setup of institutional and School events, such as recruiting events; participate in School and centre meetings
- work with students and instructors to keep a clean, safe and positive lab environment, while coordinating efforts with all faculty members in the programs
- actively engage in professional development programs offered by Lethbridge College

Required Qualifications
- Minimum diploma in either Interior Design Technology or Architectural Animation Technology or a related field (Engineering and Drafting, Decorating or Design or Architecture with a strong focus skillset in VR and Animation)
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and layout skills, Photoshop, Powerpoint and Animation, Kitchen 2020, Enscape

Experience using 3D modeling and game engine software
