Vancouver, Canada Play 2 Learn 4 Life Children's Therapy Full time

**Description**

We are looking for an SLP to join our team. This is an independent contractor position. You can create your own hours/schedule. This can be a great way to build your caseload and diversify your practice with as little or as much work as you want. We receive numerous referrals from the community and carry a waitlist for a variety of children/youth with various needs.

Our clinic has a sensory-motor gym and small 1:1 rooms to allow you the flexibility to teach speech and language in diverse ways. It is complete with all the therapy tools, toys, and games you could need. You would be collaborating with another SLP and OTs on our team.

Training/experience in delivering social skill programming and using AAC devices is required. You would need to be familiar with standardized assessments including (PLS, CELF) and writing detailed reports. You would need to feel comfortable supervising a therapy assistant and available for occasional school/community visits. You would need to be eligible for the RASP with 3 years experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.

The position is currently available and can start anytime

- All invoices and billings to clients completed by the office administrator.

**What You Bring**
- Training and experience in delivering speech therapy including social skills and AAC _(required)_
- Familiar with standardized assessments including (PLS, CELF) and writing detailed reports _(required)_
- Comfortable supervising a therapy assistant
- Doing occasional school/community visits or attending virtual meetings
- Must be eligible for the RASP with 3 years experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders or be available for the RASP supervision program

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Graduation from a recognized Speech Language Pathology program (_required_)
- Registered with CSHBC, licensed to practice SLP in BC (_required_)
- Eligibility for the RASP with 3 years experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (_required_)
- Pediatrics: 1 year (required)
- Speech Language Pathology: 1 year (_required_)
