Kelowna, Canada Christian Addiction Treatment Center Full time

**We are a private Christian Addiction and Mental health treatment center that has been operating in Kelowna since 2009, and has expanded to 4 centers between Kelowna, Ottawa, and Florida. Although we are in one of the toughest industries, through our years we have seen so many lives changed, which has kept our focus strong. We believe in focusing on the roots and mental health of the client, and by challenging them to not remain stuck but rather to achieve deep healing.**

**Note: This is NOT a position for the weak, working in this field requires strong personal mental health. Staff need to be able to be firm and abide by strong protocols and ethics.**

**Facilitator - Full or part time (onsite training is provided)**

Typical shifts 7-3, 3-11 Including Sat &/or Sundays (or portion thereof, for PT)
- Group Facilitation - Complete all scheduled sessions and activities (full daily schedule)
- Household duties
- Know and fully understand the policies and procedures and abide by them
- Understand and enter data in database
- Help prepare and Clean up after meals
- Ensures Clients are maintaining house cleanliness, assisting with household chores
- Assist with Intakes and Discharges.
- Client Supervision
- Drive and supervise clients at church, 12 step meetings and outings.
- Insures Clients are following rules and guidelines
- Follow a prepared schedule, and ensure clients are abiding to schedule. Including curfews.
- Crisis intervention / conflict resolution
- Drug test / alcohol tests for clients

**Requirements** **-**
- Education or experience working w/ addictions and mental health
- Valid drivers license w/ good driving history
- Willing to abstain from addictive substances, and provide random drug tests when requested.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Addiction Work: 2 years (preferred)
- Mental Health Work: 2 years (preferred)
