**Sussex Front Desk Agent**
The Front Desk Agent ensures guest satisfaction through courteous interactions, prompt problem-solving, and effective communication. They are also responsible for maximizing room sales by converting potential clients into guests. The role involves managing all front desk operations, including guest check-in/out, reservations, telephones, and handling payments, in line with hotel policies.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
- Maximize revenue by converting inquiries into bookings.
- Accurately register guests and handle room assignments.
- Coordinate VIP and special requests.
- Operate front desk systems, process payments, and balance shift totals.
- Maintain records, including guest registration and billing.
- Assist with housekeeping coordination and maintain positive working relationships.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized front and back office.
- Report guest complaints or security issues.
- Provide local area information and transportation details.
- Utilize the building management system to oversee our property-managed apartment complexes.
- Clean public areas as required.
- Cook and refill the breakfast buffet.
- Handle laundry duties.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to sell and negotiate.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Basic maintenance skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.

Pay: $15.75-$16.50 per hour
