Function:
The Key Account Manager is responsible and accountable for the key financial and operating metrics of the business as it relates to the customer including but not limited to net sales, margins, and profit. This highly energetic, entrepreneurial individual drives the Key Account performance as measured on month over month and year over year results through active engagement and management of the business.

Works with the Regional Sales Manager to assess the organizations position in regards to sales, gross profit, market share and execution of operational plans.

Accountabilities:

- Executes on the company’s strategic goals
- Drive sales and profitability to support the Electrolux Operating Plan and forecast and increase the Electrolux balance of sales within the Account.
- Execute on promotional plans with the Account to maximize return to Electrolux
- Execute forecast requirements for the Company as required for the business and drive forecast accuracy.
- Track and approve all Promotional Agreements for the Key Accounts
- Monitor & approve all spending including STA’s, VSI, Spiffs and Promotional activities for program cost and benefits ( ROI)
- Execute programs, promotions and flooring to increase Electrolux retail presence in the Marketplace
- Communicate and execute all plans and promotions to the Account in a timely manner to ensure success of the plans.
- Ensure that all collateral materials are created and distributed as required for promotions.
- Grow floor position on Electrolux brands at the Account
- Provide weekly updates to Regional Sales Manager on competitive flooring, sales, activities and trends.
- Identify and isolate opportunities within the Account and develop and implement action plans to ensure the Account drives growth and supports the Electrolux initiatives
- Produce and provide regular updates on account performance and plans
- Track performance of assigned brands, product lines and promotions against specific financial and volume objectives.
- Approve and monitor Business Agreements and track sales associated to targets
- Evaluate and action on floor merchandising for to ensure and maintain merchandising standards.
- Conduct market visits to adapt strategies to a dynamic market

Skills Required:

- Strong written and oral skills. A cross functional communicator across all levels of the business. Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, with ability to prioritize and a strong attention to detail
- A proven background in business development and negotiation; additional experience in building partnerships
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- A thorough knowledge of the process of product development, advertising, marketing, and sales with a strong understanding of merchandising
- Exceptional computer skills required: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point
- Preferred applicants will be highly motivated and assertive with a strong record of performance and exceptional reliability
- Advanced knowledge of appliances and the Appliance industry is a definite asset but not a requirement.

Qualifications:

- University Degree Required
- 3-5 years Sales experience
