We are hiring full-time restaurant shift manager. Previous food handling or customer service experience is required. Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

**Job Requirements**:

- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction, including handling guest complaints and issues and communicating with them.
- Respond accurately to customer complaints and respond to them in a timely fashion
- Ensure you are regularly reviewing the quality of food, and researching vendors locally as well.
- Scheduling and supervising shifts, including responsibility for the correct number of hours scheduled by taking the rush hours into account.
- Review staff performance regularly, and be responsible for hiring.
- Be up to date with all equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, and ensure the restaurant is clean at all times, and washrooms are cleaned and stocked hourly
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational and food costs and identify measures to cut waste and improve operations in-store
- Be responsible for ordering and conducting inventory, including recieving deliveries
- Find ways to reach a wider audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads) in Thunder Bay as Osmow's has opened recently here.
- Train new employees and review their performance.
- Review existing job policies and recommend other policies that should be in place for smoother operations, or which should be amended.
- In-store operations such as refilling napkins, condiments, and utensil dispensers are all done with the help of your staff.
- Food safety and following recipes and portion and production standards
- Personality-wise - must be outgoing and communicate effectively with customers and staff, and be ready to help and listen to any and all concerns.

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
