**We are currently searching for a dynamic Customer Service focused “Security Host” for our Parksville Resort located on beautiful Vancouver Island.**

This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors As a Host, you will be instrumental in maintaining great customer relations and service to our guests, as well as helping to maintain a safe, secure,well-kept camp resort.

You will be comfortable working both independently and part of a small staff team.

Tourism or hospitality skills are preferred but not necessary.

Live on-site in your own RV.

Must be available for the entire season April to September 2023. Must be able to work afternoon and evening, and weekend shifts.

**Key Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Provide safe and secure property during shift period.
- Assist guests with arrival procedures, perform check-in procedures, and any provided
service problems as required.
- Provide regular rounds of RV park to conduct security checks to reduce or eliminate
parking violations and any criminal activity.
- Ensure consistent compliance with site rules and safety standards.
- Ensure good communication with supervisor to ensure arising issues including, guest requests and concerns are managed effectively.
- Maintain accurate reporting on any emergencies, guest complaints and rule non-compliance.
- Carry out assigned general maintenance duties as time permits.
- Other duties as assigned by resort or site manager.

**Key Requirements/Skills**:

- Previous campground or hospitality industry experience, a definite asset.
- A hospitable nature, outgoing and friendly with good communication and customer
service skills.
- Ability to monitor the environment and respond to changing circumstances.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Physically able to work on your feet during extended periods of time, walk up to 5
kilometres per shift and work outdoors in all weather.
- Friendly and outgoing with the ability to remain calm at all times.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Criminal Record check.
- First/Aid and CPR.
