**The _Faculté de médecine vétérinaire _(FMV) of the _Université de Montréal_ is currently seeking qualified
capital of Quebec. The FMV is located 60 km (37 miles) from Montreal, a vibrant city with an international
airport and excellent flight connections to Europe, the USA. The chosen person will work within the Centre
hospitalier universitaire vétérinaire (CHUV) in collaboration with several specialists - anesthesiology,
dentistry, dermatology, medical imaging, internal medicine, neurology, emergency medicine and intensive
care - committed to providing the best veterinary care. This person will also work in collaboration with all
hospitals and in this context, will be required to treat diverse species (cats, dogs, horses, birds, exotic

**As a clinician, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the excellence of the Faculté de**
**médecine vétérinaire**:
Through your teaching (for a maximum of 90% of the appointment), you will also ensure the visibility of your
discipline and your research activities in addition to actively participate in the operation of a renowned
institution (for a minimum of 10% of the appointment). As such, you will:

- ** **Participate in clinical teaching, including providing care and services to meet the various needs of the
dermatology service's clientele;
- ** **Supervise undergraduate students during internships and graduate students in their programs;
>** **Assess student learning;
>** **Provide advice and educational assistance to students.

**To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications**:
>** **A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
>** **A diploma from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) or the European College

of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD)
>** **A license to practice from the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec
>** **Work experience and/or clinical teaching experience in a university setting would be an asset
>** **An adequate knowledge of the French written and spoken language **or** a strong commitment to

mastering the proficiency level required, in accordance to Université de Montréal’s Language Policy.
