Rate of Pay: $27.88 per hour

Hours Per Week: Up to 40 hours per week

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with the general marketing of the TMSU including TMSU resources, services and events
- Assist the Executive Committee with governance initiatives and campaigns
- Effectively manage and oversee the operations of the TMSU Street Team
- Create content for TMSU newsletters
- Assists students' union departments in developing and implementing outreach strategies through central students' union channels that effectively promote projects, events, and initiatives to the student body and broader community.
- Assist staff and executives in collaborating with various student groups to ensure the events of all the student groups are promoted in a timely manner, and also provide the student groups with any outreach they may require.
- Monitor and report the progress of projects and the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
- Assists the TMSU executives in receiving feedback from the students, conducts surveys, and collects useful information to provide better and improved services
- Work with the executives to formulate better outreach plans with the students and assist with any of the official outreach of the TMSU.
- Assists management in developing and implementing digital campaigns and in-person outreach strategies that promote events, services, campaigns, volunteer opportunities, democratic engagement, and other organizational initiatives.
- As time permits, assist with other duties as assigned, including executive support in confidential matters, HR support and labour relations.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Event planning or project leadership is an asset.
- Experience and understanding of how to conduct research and build stakeholder relationships and resources.
- Detail oriented, fast learner, and ability to meet deadlines
- Can work with mínimal supervision but is able to maintain effective communication with the supervisor.
- Experience in content creation and digital marketing is an asset
- Familiar with TMSU initiatives, campus groups and services
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
