**Operations Coordinator Wanted**

**Reporting directly to the Station Manager, the Operations Coordinator's responsibilities include**:

- Understanding all operational processes and adhering to company policies and procedures
- Handling emergency phone calls from clients and following the proper notification and mobilization procedures as outlined in the Emergency Response Protocol
- Communicating regularly with the Station Manager and administrative staff regarding any anomalies that would impact employee work or travel hours, employee performance, or safety-related issues
- Utilizing the Operations/Station Day log and SPIRA operations system on a daily basis
- Communicating with field personnel to advise of traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, weight restrictions, weather conditions, and other hazards
- Ensuring client coding such as P.O.#s or other mandatory information is included on the Dispatch ticket to the field when creating jobs
- Administering all company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a professional and diplomatic manner when representing the company
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all HSE Integrated policies, procedures, products, and services
- Logistically moving equipment and personnel in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Assisting administrative staff in reconciling and price checking field work-orders, purchase orders, and other job costs (hotel billing)
- Troubleshooting incidents that occur with field personnel regarding equipment failures/breakdowns and directions
- Maintaining productivity in high-pressure situations and remaining engaged when activity is slow
- Being available after hours and weekends to provide support as required to perform post-incident Drug and Alcohol testing
- Attending the office after hours and weekends when required to ensure that field tickets, job sheets, and equipment are ready for field deployment
- Maintaining high levels of communication with other members of the Operations Coordination team
- Performing other duties as required

**Supervisors Safety Responsibilities**:

- Execute reasonable judgement to ensure the health and safety of the workers under their supervision
- Ensure all workers under their direction are adequately trained in the given task, knowledgeable of the with equipment and effectively supervised throughout the job
- Maintain cyclical and as required safety tasks as directed by the health and safety program and jurisdictional health and safety legislation
- Regularly communicate with employees regarding occupational health and safety, observing performance for compliance to the program
- Immediately notify and liaise with the health and safety department regarding OH&S visits, inspection or inquiries and health or safety related incidents

**Required Qualifications**:

- Previous relevant safety experience and/or a minimum of 3 years of field experience, with knowledge of equipment and personnel requirements for Air, Medical, Fire/Shower, Industrial and Special Services
- Previous dispatching experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle change
- High level of competency using Microsoft Office programs
- Valid unrestricted license with full driving privileges in the province of issue for the specified class of vehicle to be operated on behalf of the company or a higher class of license than that of the vehicle to be operated.

**Required Certifications & Training**:

- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Experience with P21
- HSE Orientation
- Petroleum Safety Training (PST)/Construction Safety Training System (CSTS)
- EGSO ~ Enform
- Coordinator/leadership training
