**Overview**:
We are looking for a VP, Human Resources to join our rapidly growing team.
Reporting to the CFO and as a key member of the senior management team, the VP, Human Resources is responsible for ensuring the people strategy and practices align with the organization's mission, values, and direction to support organizational growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create, evolve, and champion people strategy and execution to continuously improve the employee experience as we scale-up our team.
- Build employee programs and promote them company wide
- Build and maintain all HR initiatives (examples: Benefits programs, Employee handbook, D&I, roles & responsibilities, compensation benchmarking)
- Model our People First values. You'll earn the trust of colleagues by forming strong relationships allowing you to ‘monitor the pulse' of employees and drive continuous engagement and retention.
- Stay involved in recruitment panels for Senior Leadership roles both locally and internationally. Ensure we remain a Great Place to Work and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to be a brand ambassador.
- Act as a confidant to all Salesfloorians. You will act as a coach and will work closely with your leaders and the HR team, mentoring and supporting them in the fulfillment of their career path and those of their teams.
- Build an L&D program, we want to grow our people internally
- You will identify the learning interventions required for department teams and participate in promoting the L&D projects and initiatives.
- Coach senior leaders on key areas such as leadership, strategy, and team effectiveness.
- Act as an advisor and condant to Senior Leadership Team, advise on topics such as organizational design, retention, performance, and succession management.
- As an experienced leader, you'll lead and inspire your team. Your open communication and credible decision making will help deliver results at pace across the company.

**Requirements**:
- You have 7+ years of people/HR experience and 3+ years of leadership experience in a start-up or fast growth organization.
- Proven capability in setting the people strategy in a start-up or fast growth organization and partnering with senior level executives
- Is comfortable engaging in debate and providing effective challenge as part of a senior leadership team and as the most senior leader of the HR team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal
- Familiar with working in retail technology industry or other growth stage start-ups is a bonus but not required
