**ADDICTION CASE MANAGER**

**Full-Time**

**Internal & External**

Monarch Recovery Services is seeking a Housing Case Manager to work with community clients living with substance use who have received housing rent supplements in our ASH program. Included in the responsibilities will be to assist in finding affordable and appropriate housing, help maintain the relationship with the landlord and sustain tenancy, assessment and case management of the individual’s substance use disorder, including providing education, counselling, referrals, etc. Client work is in-home and community visits. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week.

Some group work may also be involved.

The position commences as soon as possible.

Salary starts at $26.52/hr.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in human services, from an accredited university, with appropriate experience in counselling
- Understanding of the Landlord/Tenant Act.
- Knowledge of the Sudbury Region and housing market.
- Experience and extensive knowledge of addictions, harm reduction, trauma informed care and the Stages of Change.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in both official languages an asset
- Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in computer Microsoft programs

Pay: $26.52-$27.77 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- mental health and addiction: 2 years (preferred)
