Overview:
**SOMA** is looking for a **Compliance & Auditing Specialist** to join our team
The **Compliance & Auditing Specialist** is tasked with ensuring that SOMA meets both external regulations and internal policies as per SOMA’s SOPs and CARF guidelines. This position would require the employee to analyze and interpret data, identify areas of concern, and recognize when there is a problem. The employee would determine compliance within regulations, policies, and procedures, identify methods of resolution and options for corrective action.
Qualifications:
**Education and/or Experience**
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience. Three years successful experience in the document retrieval industry is preferred. Account management experience working in virtual offsite office is helpful. Five years’ experience with state, local and federal rules of civil procedure, statue exposure and interruption.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must demonstrate high level of self-motivation.
- Must be able to work under mínimal supervision and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be a self-starter who takes direction when given but has the ability to determine what’s required and willingness to take action.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel, and ability to learn Salesforce.
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and willingness to follow-up to assure work is completed.
- Able to work independently and in team environment.
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.

**Responsibilities**:
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Product Development Departments for Compliance-related questions and tasks.
- Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry and client regulations and standards.
- Provide oversight and guidance for all policies, KPIs, templates and forms as required
- Conduct Internal Audits for Customers, Secondary Service Providers and Internal Quality Incentive Programs
- Provide Customer Reporting accurately and on time as requested on monthly or quarterly basis to assist the Business Development and Operations Teams
- Ensure all offices and services are AODA compliant and ensure audits are completed on an annual basis
- Ensure all offices and services are Health & Safety compliant and ensure audits are completed on a quarterly basis and inspections on an annual basis
- Assist with client and assessor complaint resolution with the assistance of the Business Development and Operations teams
- Monitor adherence to all service standards and legislative requirements
- Maintain and update operations scorecard on a biweekly basis
- Provide training to staff as required to improve quality scores, tracking, and measurement
- Conduct policy review and revisions as required to meet customer needs
- Create, modify, update, and implement the company’s compliance policies.
- Design control systems to address cases of violation of compliance policies.
- Design ongoing compliance training programs for employees of the business.
- Timely execution on request received from management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
