**Rate of Pay**:To commensurate with experience
**Hours of Work**:37.5 hours per week
**Duration**:One year contract, renewable
**Qualifications**:
- Successful completion of a recognized Master’s degree in a relevant and/or related field
- Minimum of one year recent and relevant clinical research experience, preferably with experience confidentially handling patient data
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be able to work under pressure, and have the flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and deadlines
- Effective communication skills to foster a respectful, inclusive and collaborative environment
- Ability to implement and coordinate aspects of a small clinical study including facilitation of study activation, coordination with team members, data and sample collection, and assistance with data analysis
- Excellent writing and presentation skills for grant and REB protocol preparation and for updates on study results and progress
- Ability to organize workload and manage daily competing priorities in a health care environment
- Ability to act as the central point of communication for study management, manage data and specimen collection
- Working knowledge, or ideally prior experience, in Human Research Ethics, Tri-council policy, Good Clinical Practices, Health Canada and FDA regulations an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient
- and family-centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated abilty to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
