**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Campus Safety, Parking & Transportation within Parking & Transportation Services, this position will focus primarily on ensuring the compliance operations functions within the unit are implemented and executed with consistency and accuracy.

Duties will include:

- Directly support a team of Parking Assistants, ensuring compliance rules are enforced consistently and correctly, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to ensure successful execution of work responsibilities;
- Contribute to the development of a training program (in-person and online formats) and facilitate the training required for all Parking Assistants. Training will include operation of compliance monitoring devices, retrieval of information from the parking management system (AIMS), familiarity with physical configuration of campus and parking areas, customer service excellence expectations, and regulations related to the issuance of citations in accordance with the Parking Bylaws, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to fill the role successfully;
- Provide input into determining the staffing levels required to meet daily operational needs, and design shift schedules in compliance with University collective agreements and Saskatchewan Labour Standards, ensuring adequate coverage at all times while balancing budget constraints; and,
- Plan, organize and distribute daily tasks to the compliance team ensuring that all established deadlines are met and assigned tasks are completed.

Compliance Administration:

- Maintain compliance logs ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurate. Report daily to the Assistant Manager in relation to any ongoing compliance issues and/or to seek permission to take necessary actions;
- Provide support to the citation administration staff in gathering information related to parking citations issued, as required for appeals and/or court documentation;
- Provide support to Parking Services Operations in determining parking privileges (including suspensions for Persistent Violators, towing of vehicles, etc.);
- Follow up on complaints of ambiguity regarding parking signage, assess impact of signage and its placement, and make recommendations, where appropriate; and,
- Regularly monitor all parking surface areas and parkades to identify any potential hazards and/or suspicious activity, and take action to report incidences according to protocols.

Marketing & Communications:

- Contribute to the development of the Parking Services communication plan and ensure that messaging associated with compliance and citation education/operations are executed according to deadlines established, demonstrating effective communication and error-free presentation;
- Utilize a variety of software (including PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign) and mediums (banners, posters, brochures, digital ads, e-newsletters, presentations, etc.) to execute an effective compliance education program;
- Ensure all parking bylaws are kept up-to-date and are reflected in AIMS software and on Parking websites to encourage parking compliance and easily accessed information;
- Coordinate with other members of the Parking Services team to help prepare and display required signage that will effectively communicate parking area/parkade information related to events, maintenance, or mechanical equipment failures; and,
- Collaborate on event parking plan development through committee participation and/or discussions with individuals to assess event parking needs, and work with the Parking Services team to identify best fit parking solutions that will help ensure events are successful, campus visitor experiences are positive, and emergency parking arrangement situations are avoided.

Systems Performance Monitoring & Maintenance:

- Ensure the License Plate Recognition (LPR) system is running effectively by reviewing daily reports and seeking feedback from other system users, in order to address any issues arising so that the issuing of incorrect citations is avoided;
- Identify any technical issues related to LPR, geo-fencing, PaybyPhone, IRIS (Pay stations), or the AIMS parking management module, and work with vendors to resolve issues as quickly as possible so that operations are not negatively impacted; and,
- Ensure any equipment related issues identified are reported to all Parking Services areas in a timely manner so that appropriate resolutions can be reached quickly.

Engagement & Collaboration:

- Engage stakeholders in relation to compliance matters through regular communications; conduct current situation needs analysis on a regular basis in order to preventatively identify and address concerns; and,
