Job Overview

We are looking for an Account Reconciliation Specialist to be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external vendors (d1g1t and NDEX) to identify and resolve discrepancies, investigate issues, and provide insights to management for decision-making. This job requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of reconciliation processes.

What you will do
- Compare financial records from different sources to identify discrepancies.
- Investigate the causes of the discrepancies.
- Take action to resolve any outstanding issues that cause discrepancies.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Provide support to other departments on reconciliation-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all reconciliation activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Develop and update standard operation procedures for reconciliation processes to ensure best practices are followed.

What you will bring
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a reconciliation-focused role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sound knowledge / understanding of d1g1t and NDEX will be an asset.
