**What you will be doing in this role**:

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents/clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the care team.
- Ensure that all care services are delivered in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Sound knowledge of relevant long term care legislation is essential.

**What you must have**:

- Must be an RN
- 5+ years of experience as a prior Director of Care within a Long Term Care Facility
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
