**POSITION TITLE**: Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Technician

**DEPARTMENT**: Infrastructure

**CLASSIFICATION**: MGO-04

**SALARY RANGE**: $51,000.00 to $60,950.00 Per Annum

**POSITION TYPE**:Full-time, Temporary

**LOCATION**: Batoche

**ACCOUNTABLE TO**:Deputy Chief of Infrastructure and/or the Infrastructure Manager

**Brief Overview**:
Under the direction of the Deputy Chief-Infrastructure &/or the Infrastructure Manager, the Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, renovations, and construction projects as identified by the MN-S.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in inspecting buildings, equipment, and appliances for functionality, checking for faults, and repairing as required.
- Assist in ensuring that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers.
- Assist in diagnosing problems with lands, and buildings and facilitate and conduct their prompt repairs for the convenience of property users.
- Assist in designing plans and schedules for works to be executed on properties.
- Assist in the development of MN-S Bison pasture, facilities, and animal handling requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years as a qualified and competent tradesperson.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Work well independently and as a team.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work outside in all weather.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work from heights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MN-S Governance structure.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

**Additional Requirements**:

- The position is based on a 37.5-hour work week Monday through Friday.
- A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to Batoche would be required.
