**WHO WE ARE**
When it comes to health, we’re always looking for ways to push for better. It’s why we were founded in the first place. In 1957, our founder, pharmacist William Wilkinson, witnessed a mother sacrifice her health by forgoing her own medicine to pay for her sick daughter’s prescription. He knew there had to be a better way. So, he introduced North America’s first prepaid drug plan, and GreenShield was born as a not-for-profit with a mission to support better health for all Canadians.
We aren’t just a health and benefits company. We’re the only not-for-profit social enterprise that brings worlds of coverage and care together, all in one place. We’re noble challengers, purposefully building a better way and we need the best people to help us create a more holistic approach that takes care of the mind and body.
Our mission is to create better health for all Canadians, and we know that starts with our employees.
As a part of Greenshield group of companies, Greenshield Administration provides innovative health benefit solutions for the small-mid size companies in Canada. Recognized as the leading alternative to the traditional insurance companies, in a market where small and mid-sized employers have been largely underserved Greenshield Administration sets itself apart from the competition, by using technology, creative product development and a stellar customer experience to solve problems for employers. Honeybee Benefits is our next generation benefits platform built for today’s modern workforce that empowers employers to compete better for talent.
The GreenShield Administration development team owns and builds the iBenefits Benefit Administration system. Our mission is to enable millions of Canadians to seamlessly access their health, dental, drug and mental health services. We are currently recruiting an experienced Configuration Manager who enjoys solving technical challenges, simplifying and eliminating complexity as well as demonstrating a high sense of ownership and the ability to drive solutions from inception to delivery. We have a strong culture of innovation and solving problems in creative ways to provide world class user experiences to our plan members.
**THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL**:
- Lead and mentor a team of Benefits Implementation Consultants, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Ensure the on time and high quality delivery of iBenefits Implementations and change requests for existing clients.
- Ensure configuration documentation is maintained and aligns with system changes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to formulate configuration strategies aligned with system capabilities and client requirements.
- Lead initiatives to improve the implementation process, ensuring that all processes are well documented, and solutions are delivered with high quality.
- Investigate and resolve complex configuration-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of benefit plan configurations.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to minimize errors and enhance system reliability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
- Post-Secondary degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the Canadian Benefits Administration industry
- In-depth understanding of Canadian Benefit plan structures
- Experience with benefits administration systems and configuration tools
- Able to demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient writing SQL queries
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
**NICE TO HAVE**:
- Bilingualism (English & French)
**THE CULTURE**
We believe a career should be meaningful. Not just a means to earn a living. Our culture is one where everyone's voice is heard and valued. Because that’s what it takes to create better health for all. We dare to challenge the status quo. And we’re driven by people who have challenged theirs. We believe that your workplace should empower you to be the best version of yourself. That’s why we provide a place where you can be inspired, challenged, and rewarded.
Where your growth means our growth.
Where your voice is heard and valued.
Where your work has purpose. And purpose matters.
We believe our people are critical to our overall success. Inclusivity makes us a stronger, smarter and more informed organization. Being intentionally inclusive of diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences will enhance our company culture to positively impact how we support our communities. A career at GreenShield isn’t just about personal achievements, it's about making a difference together.
