Air Canada Vacations is hiring a Destination Specialist / Vacances Air Canada recrute un/une Spécialiste, Service à Destination.

This team will be responsible for the logístical and service oversight of all destinations offered by Air Canada Vacations. They key function of this role is to be present at destination during regular and irregular operation.

**RESPONSIBITIES**
- Train and coach local ground handler’s staff
- Monitor Service standards in all ACV destinations.
- Work closely with the Destination Coordinators to ensure high level of Customer Satisfaction
- Responsible for destination branding and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Identify marketing and branding opportunities and work with various departments to implement.
- Responsible for the health and safety of all our passengers across various touchpoints such as resorts, transportation, and excursions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
- Update and maintain the Destination Services Manual
- Manage the ordering, shipping, and inventory of destination supplies.
- Assist Product with contracting local suppliers.
- Crisis Management - at destination. May require absence from home and overnight stays to ensure proper resolution of the matter.
- Negotiate with hotels to increase brand presence.
- Manage multiple projects and perform other duties as required.
- Position involves frequent travel to the various destinations serviced by Air Canada Vacations

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Diploma in tourism or equivalent experience
- 2-years minimum of experience with a tour operator
- Must demonstrate accuracy, initiative; judgement and act in a confidential manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively - written and verbal
- Ability to create reports
- Analytical
- Experience in destination services/operations
- Computer knowledge: Excel, Word, Report Manager
- Knowledge of English, French and Spanish is an asset
- Ability to travel at least twice a month

Cette équipe sera responsable de la supervision de la logistique et du service pour toutes les destinations offertes par Vacances Air Canada. La fonction clé de ce rôle est d’être présent à la destination pendant les opérations régulières et irrégulières.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Former et entraîner le personnel local des manutentionnaires au sol.
- Contrôler les normes de service dans toutes les destinations de Vacances Air Canada.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les coordonnateurs à destination pour garantir un niveau élevé de satisfaction de la clientèle.
- Être responsable de l’image de marque de la destination et du respect des directives de l’entreprise.
- Identifier les opportunités de marketing et d’image de marque et travailler avec les différents départements pour les mettre en œuvre.
- Être responsable de la santé et de la sécurité de tous nos passagers à travers les différents points de contact tels que les complexes, les transports et les excursions.
- Établir et maintenir de solides relations de travail avec les fournisseurs.
- Mettre à jour et maintenir le manuel des services à destination.
- Gérer la commande, l’expédition et l’inventaire des fournitures de destination.
- Aider l’équipe de produits à établir des contrats avec les fournisseurs locaux.
- Gestion de crise à destination. Le poste peut nécessiter une absence du domicile et des nuitées pour assurer une résolution adéquate de l’affaire.
- Négocier avec les hôtels pour accroître la présence de la marque.
- Gérer de multiples projets et effectuer d’autres tâches selon les besoins.
- Le poste implique des déplacements fréquents vers les différentes destinations desservies par Vacances Air Canada.

**CONNAISSANCES ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES**
- Diplôme en tourisme ou expérience équivalente
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience auprès d’un voyagiste
- Habileté à faire preuve de précision, d’initiative et de jugement et à agir de manière confidentielle.
- Capacité à communiquer efficacement à l’écrit et à l’oral
- Capacité à créer des rapports
- Esprit d’analyse
- Expérience dans les services et opérations à destination
- Connaissances informatiques : Excel, Word, Report Manager
- Connaissance de l’anglais, du français et de l’espagnol, un atout
- Capacité à voyager au moins deux fois par mois
