**The internship dates for the Summer session are from May 8th to August 18th, 2023.**

**Your role and your team**:
The primary role of the Graphic Design Specialist will be to support the design team in the everyday production and delivery of a variety of tasks and responsibilities. In this capacity, they will contribute and work hands-on with other designers, with opportunities to put their creativity and skills into action in a dynamic and driven Marketing department.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Work closely within the graphic design team to ensure consistency and quality of work across all projects
- Ensure that all creative assets are delivered in the correct format for their target publication destination - be it print, web page, screen or social media
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance and completion of metadata tagging of assets for use in the corporate Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
- Ensure compliance of creative materials to all corporate brand identity guidelines
- Assist with the layout, production, editing and updating of a variety of corporate and product/services marketing materials including:

- Corporate events and tradeshow related work
- Corporate, product and services related collateral (datasheet & brochures), flyers, and Office 365 documents (Word and PowerPoint presentations)
- Promotional materials
- Internal communications projects
- PowerPoint presentations

**Requirements**:

- Actively enrolled as a student in a Graphic Design program at the college or university level
- Demonstrative portfolio of completed graphic design work or student projects
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Apps: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Bridge
- Office 365 apps: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Proficiency in document layout and styling an asset)
- Windows and MacOS operating systems
- Attention to detail, especially related layout and typographical standards
- Good working knowledge of web graphics optimization
- Solid working knowledge or experience with the printing process is highly valued
- Good project and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

**Assets**:

- Basic understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
- Appreciation and willingness to learn in a team environment and adhere to existing design standards and procedures
- Perseverance to see projects through from initial conception to final production

**Ton rôle et ton équipe**:
Le rôle principal du spécialiste en design graphique sera de soutenir l'équipe de design dans la production et la livraison quotidiennes d'une variété de tâches et de responsabilités. À ce titre, il apportera sa contribution et travaillera en étroite collaboration avec d'autres concepteurs, ce qui lui donnera l'occasion de mettre en œuvre sa créativité et ses compétences au sein d'un service de marketing dynamique et motivé.

**Tes responsabilités**:

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de conception graphique pour assurer la cohérence et la qualité du travail dans tous les projets
- Veiller à ce que tous les éléments créatifs soient livrés dans le format approprié à leur destination de publication - qu'il s'agisse d'imprimés, de pages web, d'écrans ou de médias sociaux
- Participer à la maintenance et à l'étiquetage des métadonnées des ressources en vue de leur utilisation dans le système de gestion des ressources numériques (DAM) de l'entreprise
- Veiller à ce que les supports créatifs soient conformes à toutes les lignes directrices de l'identité de marque de l'entreprise
- Aider à la mise en page, à la production, à l'édition et à la mise à jour d'une variété de documents de marketing d'entreprise et de produits/services, y compris:

- Les événements d'entreprise et le travail lié aux salons professionnels
- Les documents relatifs à l'entreprise, aux produits et aux services (fiches techniques et brochures), les dépliants et les documents Office 365 (présentations Word et PowerPoint)
- Travail de marketing numérique (y compris les médias sociaux) pour le site web de l'entreprise et les communications par courriel
- Matériel promotionnel
- Projets de communication interne
- Présentations PowerPoint

**Les compétences qu’il te faut posséder**:

- Être activement inscrit en tant qu'étudiant dans un programme de design graphique au niveau collégial ou universitaire
- Un portfolio de travaux de design graphique achevés ou de projets d'étudiants
- Applications Adobe Creative Cloud : Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Bridge
- Applications Office 365 : Microsoft Word, PowerPoint et Excel (la maîtrise de la mise en page et de la stylisation des documents est un atout)
