**The Opportunity**

General Bank of Canada is looking for a full-time Human Resources (HR) Administrator to join the organization for a 12-month temporary opportunity as a key contributor to the Bank’s human resources team. Consistent with the growth trajectory of the Bank, this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to building the bank of the future with considerable potential for learning, growth, and advancement.

The HR Administrator supports the HR functions and processes at the Bank. This role will enable the development and enhancement of all HR programs and deliver an exceptional employee experience. The HR Administrator leads the HR team's administrative responsibilities and is important in supporting the overall delivery of people processes, policies and programs.

**Responsibilities**
- Administer onboarding program including new employee documentation.
- Administer onboarding program including new employee documentation.
- Process payroll and maintain payroll system.
- Collect, analyze, and report data on HR metrics.
- Lead content creation for social channels including creating, editing, and publishing social media content.
- Lead continuous improvement activities related to processes and functions.
- Support research requirements for HR-related programs and processes.
- Perform other related duties including ad hoc projects as assigned.

**What You Bring to the Table**
- Post-secondary education in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience in human resources or an administrative support role is preferred.
- Experience in payroll, marketing, communications, public relations, or social media management is an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and related computer and/or technology software.

Location: Edmonton
Salary range: 2 ($50,000)
