Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on simultaneous EEG-fMRI preprocessing and denoising techniques to improve the quality and reliability of acquired data.
- Develop and implement advanced event-related desynchronization processing algorithms to analyze neurophysiological signals and extract relevant features.
- Perform multi-modal signal processing from wearable sensors, integrating data from different modalities to gain a comprehensive understanding of physiological responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neurophysiological signal processing, EEG-fMRI techniques, and wearable sensor technology.
- Prepare and present research findings at conferences, workshops, and scientific meetings.
- Contribute to the preparation of research publications and grant proposals.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students and assist in their research activities.
- Participate in the dissemination of research outcomes through workshops, tutorials, and training sessions.

**Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Strong background in signal processing, particularly in the context of neurophysiological data.
- Proficiency in simultaneous EEG-fMRI preprocessing and denoising techniques.
- Expertise in event-related desynchronization analysis and the ability to analyze and interpret EEG and behavioral data.
- Experience with multi-modal signal processing, including the integration of wearable sensor data.
- Proficient programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages commonly used for signal processing.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team.
- A track record of scientific publications in relevant conferences and journals is highly desirable.
