**Join our global payroll team, located in Vancouver BC, Canada**

**Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations
- Maintain employee payroll records and data in the HRIS system
- Calculate and process employee benefits, deductions, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure accurate employee data in the payroll system
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices
- Accounts payable & receivable processing
- Support with expense & credit card reporting

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field desirable
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software such as PeopleSoft, ADP Celergo, Ceridian, or Kronos
- Experience with partially outsourced payroll process
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
