**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing and Sales Associate is engaged in the development and execution of marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products by:

- Supporting product promotion to various audiences using different communication channels.
- Analyzing sales data and providing actionable recommendations to drive sales growth.

This position requires a sales and marketing professional who understands the dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry and adapts strategies to meet both business objectives and consumer need.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams (such as Sales, Regulatory and Finance) to ensure a cohesive and effective approach.

Brand Management:

- Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, including product launches, advertising campaigns, promotional materials and special events designed to achieve specific brand and category objectives (share, volume, distribution)
- Help to organize, manage and attend industry trade shows and key partnership/sponsorship opportunities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of consumer and HCP media/ promotional plans, including third parties (agency partners).
- Assist the Product Manager in developing strategic and tactical presentations for meetings and sales team conferences.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting tactics as needed to maximize ROI.
- Ensure all marketing activities have regulatory approval and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Handle market survey and deal with cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate productive value.

**Market Research and Competitive Analysis**
- Continuously evaluate the performance of products in the market, using quantitative and qualitative data to guide future strategies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the market and competition to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Help develop our customer insight strategy, through research and knowledge of industry trends.

Sales Team Support
- Work closely with the Product Manager, Key Accounts, and sales functions to ensure that marketing campaigns are executed in a timely manner and sales data is analyzed.
- Assist in providing sales communication on innovation and marketing programs to the Key Account Managers and field sales team.
- Help manage marketing requests in collaboration with the sales team.
- Attend sales meeting, conference calls, training sessions, and symposium circuits.

Business & Financial Management
- Monitor the achievement of Brand objectives vs. target and help develop strategies to address any changes in the business environment as appropriate.
- Assist the Product Manager with annual marketing budgeting process and monthly financial control of the investments.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Exzell’s global colleagues and agency partners. Participate in relevant meetings and industry conferences.

**Required Qualifications and Experiences**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related business field required.
- 3+ years marketing experience in the consumer products/pharmaceutical industry, preferably with B2B or professional channel marketing experience.
- Possession of a valid drive’s license.

**Language Proficiency**: Fluency in English, French, and Portuguese would be considered a plus.

**Notice**:Only applicants residing in the Greater Toronto Area and legally permitted to work in Canada will be considered for this position.
