Medical Receptionist Co-lead

Ensure front office is always organized and operating efficiently
- Problem solving - resolve any issues/concerns
- Training of newly hired receptionists
- Contact Telephone Health Advisory Service to confirm which Physicians are on-call for FHO clinics
- Reflect changes in patient appointments due to Physician schedules when away from their practice (vacation, etc.)
- Assign same day appointments
- Check schedule for reminder calls
- Check bookings 2 to 4 weeks in advance, correcting any booking errors
- Set guidelines on how to book/pre-book appointments, as per Physicians and Nurses
- Answering phones in a professional manner
- Triage patient concerns
- Schedule patient appointments
- Greeting patients and visitors to the office
- Communication with Physicians and medical team through messaging system and/or verbal communication
- Call patients to remind them of scheduled CPX
- Reschedule appointments as required
- Inform patients of completed documents for collection
- Photocopying as required
- Collection of patient monies owed and provision of receipt
- Compiling and distribution of FHO Enrollment Kits, Preventive Care forms and packages
- Registration of new patients
- Participate in staff coverage for FHO clinics
- Direct and disseminate communication and information to front office team
- Communication with Leadership Team
- Scheduling of front office staff
- Other duties as assigned
**Salary**: $16.70-$21.50 per hour
