**This position is an 18 month contract**
**What is the opportunity?**
Do you have a keen understanding of Sponsorship Activation, social media and Content Marketing Strategy? You have experience integrating Quebec-specific campaigns within a broader marketing strategy and key Quebec agencies? Are you creative, who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders? If so we want to hear from you.
RBC is recruiting for a Marketing Manager - Quebec Region, based in Montreal.
**What will you do?**
- Understands the RBC Brand Strategy, businesses and regional priorities and ensures they are reflected in marketing and sponsorships activities
- Demonstrates an understanding of RBC business segments and how to align marketing and sponsorship assets and activations to support them.
- Plan, coordinate and manage national and regional sponsorships with multiple stakeholders
- Sets brand and/or business objectives for all sponsorship activations to ensure they can be properly measured and reported on.
- Ensures branding consistency and brand awareness for all activations
- Uses a variety of metrics and methodologies to measure progress of sponsorship and marketing activities against objectives.
- Support Sr Marketing Manager in day-to-day campaigns development and execution including agency relation, creative coordination, and approval
- In coordination with the Regional Communication Manager, develops social media and content marketing strategies and tactics to build brand consideration, provide timely advice and enhance awareness and engagement of regional sponsorship and citizenship activities
- Makes needed adjustments to timelines, steps, and resource allocation to ensure the best outcomes are me
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
- At least 5 years’ experience in marketing, sponsorship, social media, and advertising agency experience
- Quebec-based experience in all marketing disciplines including sponsorship, social media content and digital
- Strong ability to work in a collaborative way across the organization.
- Analytical, detail-oriented nature with experience using numbers to deliver marketing insights and action
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada
