We are a company that designs and manufactures Montessori Furniture for small spaces. We ensure our products provide all the benefits of full-scale furniture but on a smaller scale to fit your apartment and condo without ruining the aesthetic. We are growing fast.

**The Job**

As a Production Technician, you play a vital role in transforming wood into beautiful compact furniture for children. In this role, you will be in charge of operating several woodworking machines, automated and handheld (CNC router, boring machine, belt sander, edge bander, manual sander, paint gun), as well as maintaining and troubleshooting this equipment.

You will be working with like-minded people who are doing their best to make a beautiful, amazing product. We look for passionate people that can embrace uncertainty and be a problem solver to challenges ahead. We are small with big plans and goals ahead.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Operate woodworking machine (CNC router, boring machine, belt sander, edge bander, manual sander, paint gun) and achieve daily goals specified by production management.
- Package finished products.
- Keep a clean manufacturing environment.
- Identify opportunities to increase manufacturing efficiency and quality metrics.
- Comply with quality parameters.
- Implement and follow lean manufacturing techniques, (5 S, Kaizen, Waste management).
- Provides general support and assistance for a variety of activities performed in the manufacturing department as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Langage: Spanish not required but it's an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably woodworking, carpentry, and cabinet making.
- Can work both with teams or independently.
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Capable of doing repetitive tasks for consistent periods of time.
- Love fixing, improving, and adding value to things and processes.
- Flexibility in working shifts and/or weekends based on demand.
- Proactive and can find work without anyone telling you.

Pay: $16.75-$19.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
