**Your impact**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Infrastructure Coordinator, who will be a champion of building community and organizational best practices in delivering services to the local community.
Reporting to the General Manager of Infrastructure and Municipal Works, the Infrastructure Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of projects, strategic internal and external communications, financial analysis, preparation of reports and presentations, and providing administrative/organizational support to the General Manager.
Additionally, the Infrastructure Coordinator will provide operational support to the four divisions within the Infrastructure & Municipal Works Department: Infrastructure Planning (Engineering and Traffic Services), Municipal Works (Roads, Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, Parks and Landscape, Fleet), Environmental Services (Water Purification Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Waste Management) and Transit.
**About the Department**:
The Infrastructure Planning Division provides engineering expertise in capital planning, asset management, GIS, project design, and construction management for the City’s linear infrastructure. It also handles subdivision agreements and right-of-way control approvals.
The Municipal Works Division oversees the operation and maintenance functions of the City’s road infrastructure, water distribution and wastewater collection networks, parks and landscape, as well as fleet maintenance.
The Environmental Services Division manages the City’s Water Purification Plant (WPP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and Waste Management, including landfill operations, solid waste collection, the Blue Box program, and other waste diversion initiatives. It also leads the City’s sustainability and water conservation programs.
Cornwall Transit provides a safe and timely public transportation service for all citizens, including those with disabilities.
**About this job (Responsibilities - What you will do)**:
- Provide support to the General Manager and Divisions to ensure high levels of interpersonal and office organization and efficiency by anticipating future requirements and ensuring prompt action and confidentiality.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to execute projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools, develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document project requirements. Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals, meet budgetary objectives, and make adjustments as necessary based on financial analysis. Identify project risks and escalate to management as needed.
- Obtain and collate information regarding various projects within the department and compose internal correspondence on behalf of General Manager and/or Infrastructure & Municipal Works.
- Provide superior customer service by responding to inquiries from the public, developers, consultants, contractors, staff, and other departments.
