**What will you do?**
This position is responsible for implementation and upgrade, ongoing support and maintenance,
infrastructure, etc.) and will participate in the successful delivery of IT solutions to meet Health
Shared Service Ontario (HSSO) business needs. This role will provide first and second-tier
technical support to internal and external Customers, as well as assistance to all members of the
IT Team.

**What must you have?**
**Educational & Experience**
- Four year university degree in computer science or a related discipline or an equivalent
combination of education and experience satisfactory to the Home and Community Care
Support Services.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) certificate, Microsoft Certified Systems
Administrator (MCSA) certificate, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
(preferred).
- Certification related to currently used network administration software (preferred).
- Certification in relevant IT service management courses such as IT Infrastructure Library
(ITIL) courses (preferred).
and/or networking technologies including Windows Servers, SQL and/or BackOffice
technology, LAN/WAN and Internet environments, and the configuration and operation
of a variety of network and computer equipment.
- Demonstrates experience in patient focused IT Services teams and services.

**Key Initial Responsibilities**
- Integrates, enhances, maintains, and supports the operation of IT infrastructure and
services.
- Participate in the communication process associated with managing critical outages and
performance degradation.
- Interface with HSSO, vendors and suppliers and other external support as required.
- Develop and/or maintain the documentation for the various components in the IT
environment including: configurations, guidelines, processes/procedures, knowledge
base content and change management documentation.
