**EdgeCorp Design Builders Ltd. **(EDB) is a division of the EdgeCorp Group that performs construction management services for each EdgeCorp project. EDB’s ability to provide cost-effective construction management and general contracting services for its projects is at the core of EdgeCorp Group’s success.

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the project manager, owner, consultant, trade contractors, inspectors, to identify, develop, implement and support cost-effective project delivery.
- Identify and advise of design deficiencies, schedule interruptions or difficulties, and other project issues; works collaboratively with Project Manager to resolve issues.
- Organize, direct and control activities on the job site.
- Prepare schedules and assess manpower needs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Ensure quality of field staff and contractor workmanship and building material.
- Provide leadership of the safety program and monitor safety performance of field staff and subcontractors.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the project schedule to ensure project objectives.
- Implement site instructions and change notices to ensure scopes, terms and conditions are properly executed.
- Ensure sufficient manpower is provided to achieve safety, schedule and quality objectives.
- Maintain daily paperwork such as field reports, safety inspections, and schedule updates.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor’s performance with regards to scope of work and safety.

**Education, Skills, and Experience**
- Salary to be determined based on experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the commercial construction field, preferably in a Site Superintendent capacity with carpentry experience
- Have a good understanding of construction schedules and the ability to implement changes to accommodate work schedule accordingly
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and convey this information to others
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to get along well with others on a work team
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Have a working knowledge of trade definitions, scopes of work and the building code
- Have an awareness of safety protocols and a responsible work attitude

**Salary**: From $95,000.00 per year
