**Project Manager**

**Position Description**:
The project manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of an ongoing training initiative that aims to support parents and educators in promoting mental health and social-emotional development in children and families. As part of this role, the project manager will also have the opportunity to collaborate with policy and practice leaders across different social service sectors who work with children and families (e.g., child and family centres, child care services, child welfare, child and youth mental health). The appointment, to start immediately, is for 1 year and renewable based on project needs and performance.
**Duties**:
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of training curricula, overseeing data collection and data management, preparing policy reports for publication, supervising research assistants, developing various knowledge translation materials, and interfacing with researchers and policy/practice leaders.
**Qualifications**:
The successful applicant will hold a Master’s in social work, education, clinical child psychology, applied developmental psychology, or a related degree in the social and behavioural or health sciences. The applicant will also demonstrate a strong interest in community-level interventions and partnerships. They should also have experience supervising research assistants, facilitating training/interventions, developing training/interventions, and outstanding writing skills. Background in any of the following areas will be an asset: social-emotional development in children facing multiple forms of adversity, child and family mental health in normative and clinical populations, community engagement and familiarity with social service delivery, quantitative and qualitative research methodology, development of professional training curricula, adult education, assessment development, longitudinal analyses, and intervention research.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
