**Inventory Control Assistant**
**Job Summary**
Atlas Global Brands, a Canadian cannabis producer, is seeking an **Inventory Control Assistant** to support daily tasks within the Atlas Global Brands facilities; monitoring and controlling facility inventory by overseeing, documenting, supporting, and coordinating the movement of supplies, products, and merchandise into and out of the facilities. For maximum efficiencies and accuracy, the Inventory Control Assistant will work closely with the Inventory Reporting Manager, Site Director, Supply Chain Manager, and Quality Assurance. This position can report out of either the Chatham or Stratford, Ontario facilities.
**Reports to**: Supply Chain Manager
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, as needed
- Understand and organize storage locations according to requirements
- Understand various inventory types and requirements according to established procedures
- Identify inventory within facilities and shipping bay
- Track and manage inventory by completing regular cycle counts
- Maintain inventory records and databases for products, materials, stamps, etc.
- Identify potential inventory issues/shortages and communicate with manager
- Provide regular inventory reports to manager as needed
- Complete regular inventory valuations based on set standards
- Complete regular excise tax calculations based on set standards
- Ensure shipping counts match the sales/batch records
- Process and provide necessary paperwork for shipments
- Support any customer or B2B returns
- Ensure proper tracking on analytical testing samples
- Support accurate shipping and receiving documents through cross reference reconciliations.
- Enter any necessary information into the system for deliveries and shipments
- Support waste & destruction process
- Adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to all housekeeping and warehouse standards, while ensuring SOP protocols are being met
- Potential need for travel to other facilities (Stratford or Chatham) on monthly basis.

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to understand and learn software systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work well under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication and listening skills; ability to communicate professionally with people within all levels of the organization and external contacts
- Judgement and decision-making skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work individually and a part of team
- Able to lift-up to 30lbs
**Required Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of experience with Inventory Control is an asset
- 1-3 years of experience in analyst/reporting role an asset
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of ERP/MRP computer systems
